the newest technology 2009

Why is none of the 1990s look old today in 2009?
For example, when Disney Channel aired Sister, Sister, a show which lasted from 1994-1999, again in 2003-04, I thought it was a new show! The only difference is that no one talking about the Internet or mobile phones in it, but I feel the look, and the mentality is very modern and could take well into 2009. 1980, instead of age have appeared since at least late 1990. From the perspective 1999, all made in 1988 or before, it seems clear date, things between 1989 and 1990 seem a little dated, but things from 1991 are difficult to distinguish from this unless you look at what the technology is there. In 2009, some pre-2003 or the air if a little dated, but 1991 is more than the 2001 date search. It seems that after nearly 20 years, dates, but does not work. Is it because the technology side, 2009 is actually much more traditional than the 1990s?
Do you think that the years of the 90 eyes, the same as today? Hmm, when I look in the rooms there are too old for me. In Sister Sister can say that about 10 years due to the way they dress.
