How was life growing at 60 or 70 years?

Obviously there is an advanced technology compared to today. (The same can be said of 2050 compared to 2010) How many children grow up and be different from the current generation of children born after 2000? Are there video games, etc? I saw Dazed and Confused, which is a very good representation of high school life then.

Oh man I wish I was born at that time. I have 15 years and I do not even belong to this generation. Instead of staying in Ontario, the computer (as I am now lol) and playing video games, people were best friends with their neighbors, went to play outside and everyone happy and cool with eachother, other than the war between us and Vietnam. This was bad. But, you know, I can only dream. Basically, was a simpler time =) Look through the universe, Taking Woodstock, and Dazed and Confused (The first two are from the perspective of hippie, but was Dazed and Confused was pure as children in the 70s on his last day of classes) Dazed and Confused is a must!
