Is this a good thesis statement?
For my AP world project on globalization
A text book may define globalization as the breaking down of traditional boundaries in the face of increasingly global financial and cultural trends. But globalization is more than that. It is a process driven by international trade, investment and supported by information technology. It effects the environment, cultures, governments, economies and prosperities of nations across the world, and the overall happiness of humane society in positive and negative aspects. For thousands of years, people have been buying and selling goods to each other from far away lands. For centuries, businesses have invested in ventures overseas. Throughout the years, ranging from the early 20th century to today, globalization has continuously evolved.
The only sentence that I do not like:
For thousands of years, people have been buying and selling goods to each other from far away lands.
Should say:
For thousands of years, people have been trading goods to each other from far away lands.
I hope that helps a little bit
