How do you cite an article in this sort of paper?

My high school english teacher loves to not give details about projects, making things very hard for his students.
He asked to write an “abstract” (about half a page, double-spaced) the other day about how some of Orwell’s ideas presented in his novel 1984 are appearing today.
I found an article online on surveillance cameras with face-detection technology.
He wants us to use the article in our abstract. How do I cite it?
I’m very confused; any help is much appreciated.
