Can you help me find resources for my research paper?

Hello, for my Composition I class we are required to write a research paper in MLA format, and our teacher prefers an argumentative paper.

My topic of choice is “Are we too dependent on computers and technology?”

I already have a few articles that relate to this, but I need more information about my topic. I was thinking about writing about the history of both computers and technology and how people have become more and more dependent of them. I also would like some statistics on computer usage, or internet usage, and other things.

You need to decide where you stand on the argument. Do you agree that we are too dependent?

In her acceptance speech, Doris Lessing stated that kids “don’t read, don’t write, don’t care about anything farther in front of them than their iPods.”

You can cite her and tell whether or not you agree and why. Also, in Gerald Graff’s book “They Say/I Say” (with Reading,) Amy Goldwasser wrote an article titled “What’s The Matter With Kids Today?” Good source to use if you believe we are not dependent on technology and that it simply gets us information faster.
