MacBook is a good thing for a teenager? Asked about this issue … no answers?

I need a laptop for school and personal things. MacBook Is that good? My father always said it, but not a tech type person, so I need more opinions. Can I connect to the TV? My TV has an HDMI port. And he will be able to handle the Sims? This is a team game Listen, I really download it. Many people say it is not very good for games. Thank you.

Macs are much more friendly for people who do not know much about computers. It is much less disturbing. You can connect to your TV, but you have to buy an adapter for it, you can buy almost anywhere. For Sims 2 to work, you must be sure to buy the Mac version, but Sims 3 will run Mac and PC with the same disc. Macs are usually not good for games, but are improving. I guess it depends what are your preferences for each brand. There a major issue under discussion between the two, but both are capable of (large) the same things, Mac is easier but more expensive.
