How is evolution shaping us now we have technology society and no predators?
Sexual selection is still happening but differently so is mutation but there is no survival of the fittest anymore!

With medical advances and our modern conveniences in the western world we have all but evaded any kind of survival of the fittest type evolution. Now it is all down to how partners are selected. Sometimes the strongest, healthiest, most attractive or cleverest members of the opposite sex are chosen. Now, however, there is another aspect: promiscuity. Often a drunken night or forgetting to wear a condom will lead to reproduction with no real thought of selection.
