technology grants for schools

Is it acceptable to put a notebook in school?
Start of school (first year) fall, and I received a reward netbook for participating in this summer scholarship Technology (blah, blah, blah) Do you think the school could do very little netbook to want to study in the library or room study? I only use it for academic reasons and my school is giving me the laptop, as they are very technologically savvy.
Depends where they go to school? you live in Brooklyn? you must leave home and start selling crack, is not going to hell Technology Award, but if you go to school as a gay ass with a small band of fags, go ahead.
