How many researchers can eventually find a medical cause, much less the treatment of common diseases?

Despite all the advances medical knowledge and technology, especially in the last hundred years, why did not the medical community, even highlighted specific causes common diseases such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc etc? Is it simply too difficult? There are too many individual factors involved to find a general solution? It would be more money to speed up the process? I read except that in addition to genetic and infectious diseases, nearly half of all other diseases are obscure or unknown causes.

Most of the processes you mention are a complex interaction of many processes, probably including dozens of genes, exposure to unknown environmental factors and personal habits. The idea that there could be a single cause or cure for one of them is probably the factor limiting factor for understanding public medicine. Many people still believe that "cancer" remains a unique process that happens in the body for no reason apparent. No matter how much money you launch these conditions does not change the way they are complicated. The best we can do to this day has come with small pieces puzzle that can be modified, such as healthy eating and exercise and preventive medicine and treatment of each condition occurring.
