COD4 crashes on vista after some playing time?
I have COD4 and COD5 in my computer which has:
Windows Vista™ Ultimate Service Pack 1
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3.00GHz
3326MB RAM
ASUS EAH4850 series (ATI Technologies Inc.)
Display Memory: 2426 MB
Realtek Digital Output(RCA) (Realtek High Definition Audio)
465GB Hard drive
I have these specs and when i try to run COD4, it just crashes after some time of playing.. like 3-5 minutes after playing the whole computer crashes.. It didn’t happen before it only happens now and it’s not the only game that crashes other games do too.
Why do you think i have this problem, how can i fix it, and what should I do to prevent current problems like these?

i have directX 10
Check your drivers and make sure their updated
dedicatedgraphs memory or shared with sys. RAM?
cause 2426MB of display mem is more that half you sys mem
and make sure you run it as admin and disable DEP for it
for running as admin:
cod4mw icon>right click>properties>compatibility tab>check run as administrator
as for turning off DEP:
control panel>system settings>advanced tab>Data Execution Prevention>turn off for certain programs>add cod4mw to the certain programs list
