Becoming a teacher in the USA?

Hi,

I am currently at University studying for a BSc in Food and Nutrition and I want to become a Food Technology/Home Economics teacher in the USA.

Can anybody offer any advice about whether I should train in the UK and get a PGCE or try and train in the US? I want to emmigrate to the USA in the near future and want to make it easy as possible for me to get a job.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I am originally from the UK, I did an english course in college, then after that I moved to the USA to become and english teacher, I trained in the USA because they do some things differently than the UK does.

So if your stuck deciding, I would say you move to the USA and study there! :-)

(Study while you tan. ;p) haha.
